Information on Abstract Presentation Submission

The Organizing Committee cordially invites submissions of abstracts for presentation at the 20th International Forum for Back and Neck Pain Research in Primary Care (IBNP Forum 2027).

Guideline for Abstract Submission:

  1. Abstract submissions and presentations must be in English.
  2. The content of the abstract should include the following (400 words):
    • Background, Objective(s), and Study Design
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion and Conclusions
  3. The title should be informative and as specific as possible, with the first letter of each noun capitalized.
  4. If a table or figure is included, it must be cited in the abstract text.
  5. Up to 3 pictures/charts/tables can be included along with your abstract. Images must be entered in JPEG (jpg, jpeg) format.
  6. There is no limit on the number of abstract submissions. However, each presenter may present a maximum of two (2) presentations. Authors with more than two accepted abstracts must select two to present personally and designate co-authors to present the remainder. This ensures presentation opportunities are maximized for all attendees.
  7. The Forum reserves the right to make minor editorial changes on the abstracts.
  8. Research that has been published or presented at any national or international meetings prior to this Forum is discouraged.
  9. Only online submission is available. Submissions which do not comply with our instructions will not be considered.

Notification of Acceptance:

The Scientific Committee will review all submissions and determine the final format of presentation, either oral or poster.

Notification of acceptance will be sent out by 31 Dec 2026 (Thu).

Registration of Abstract Presenters:

Accepted authors should register for the Forum by 15 Jan 2027 (Fri). If the registration of the presenting author is not received by the deadline, the case will be handled as voluntary withdrawal.
